Goods for Ashburton

South Devon Railway

Using the South Devon Railway's small Prairie tank No. 5526 in BR Black livery, the charter recreated the atmosphere of the daily Ashburton goods train of the 1950's. The train consisted of a 4 wagon BR bauxite livieried train.

The weather was quite good in the morning with some sunny spells, however it did cloud over by the afternoon making photography quite difficult.

Weather rating 6/10.
