Bluebell Railway

An opportunity to recreate a classic S&D scene – the wonderful S&D 7F 2-8-0 No. 53809 in BR Black livery running with a rake of Southern Maunsell and Bulleid coaches to recreate a typical through express service over the long closed S&D route. The regular Cleethorpes – Exmouth and return workings were rostered 7F turns and one train set was often Southern green stock and the other maroon/red & cream Eastern region stock.

The Autumn colours were quite pleasant in the autumn sunshine on what was a generally fine day.
