Another capture from my recent Snowdonia trip (hope you not bored of these yet!). This one features the view from Tal y Llyn across Llyn Ogwen to Tryfan and to the right the "Devils Kitchen". A largely cloudy morning after a bright start (when I was elsewhere) meant that I had to wait quite a while (again!) for some light on this scene and when it did eventually show up the sun had moved round and was'nt in the best position. Still an acceptable result, but one I most definately will be returning to in the future. ![]()

I'm still working through my images from last week in Snowdonia, doing the Lightroom (and a little Photoshop) processing to create final printable images. This one has been finished as a panoramic view, perhaps for obvious reasons. It shows the view from above Barmouth of the Mawddach Estuary (Afon Mawddach) with the distant mountains beyond Dolgellau. ![]()
For my railway friends we should remember that the line from Barmouth to Ruabon ran along the edge of this estuary to Dolgellau - what a stunning location for steam that was.![]()
