Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the sunny weather - if a little hot. ![]()
I've not posted this past week as I have been busy with other things and updating the website. But just found time to share this one for a Sunday afternoon. Its a view looking across Lochan na h-Achlaise towards Black Mount, Rannoch Moor, West Highlands of Scotland, just as the sun appears over the horizon to my left. A truly wonderful sight and very peaceful. I'm hoping for more like this on my next visit to the area in September. ![]()

A few weeks back I attended a photo event based around two vintage buses in the Cotswolds. Something a little unusual for me, but the attraction of a pleasant day out with friends and the chance to capture some nice summer images was a big draw. The vehicles are a Bristol KS5G in Western National livery and a Bristol KSW "Low Bridge" in Wilts & Dorset livery, ok that meant they were not quite correct for the Cotswolds and the destination blinds were perhaps a bit odd, but hey - who cares. These two images were captured in Broadway, Gloucestershire.![]()
It is perhaps appropriate to mention that this weekend (6th/7th August) see's us return to an outside vintage vehicle event, the first for almost 3 years, when we have a display at the West Somerset Railway's vintage vehicle event at Norton Fitzwarren, near Taunton.![]()

A favorite view of mine over many years has been Wast Water in the Lake District, which did indeed win the "Britain's favorite View" competition on TV some years back. ![]()
