I am now offering a days charter with the popular Ivatt tank No. 41312 on the Severn Valley Railway, which will run with 2 maroon Mk.1’s. The charter will start from Bridgnorth at 08.00hrs and run throughout the day with a short lunch break back at Bridgnorth for crew change/water etc. and finish around 18.30hrs. This will be a very authentic charter for either the Severn Valley line itself in the early 1960’s, as these locos worked the local trains on this line in that period, or a Southern Region branch in the same period – depending on your feelings about the lamp brackets etc.
This charter is expected to be very popular.
Cost for this charter will be £72.00 per head.
