Another image from the fantastic morning at the Great Central Railway recently with Ivatt Class 2 No. 46521. The loco and train were heading north just after sunrise, which resulted in some stunning shots (I posted one last week). I quite like this unusual composition looking through the arches of "Rabbit Bridge" as the loco and train approaches out of the strong backlighting. I hope you agree. ![]()

I'm having a weekend off for a change, but when looking for something else this one caught my eye, its a further winter memory from the Lake District. This is perhaps an unusual composition and type of shot for me, but I recall liking the green moss on the trees and the tall grasses appearing out of the surface of the Tarn as you across to the snow covered parkland of Loughrigg Tarn. ![]()
