Our exhibition in Taunton is now complete and we have packed away all the equipment and pictures that our exhibitions in that venue requires. I managed to work through the whole show despite my recent health problems, so hopefully I'll continue to be able to do shows and indeed some photo shoots in the coming weeks. We are now putting together our display for the next show at Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival in Dorset, next weekend. Hoping that ground conditions improve a bit, as after all the rain over recent days I suspect it is rather wet and muddy. A few dry days should improve matters though. Its a decent traditional country show if you are in the area next weekend and worth a visit. ![]()
The attached picture is one I shared last year when it was captured, but I thought perhaps it deserved another "outing". It shows A3 No. 60103 "Flying Scotsman" crossing the Forth Bridge at North Queensferry with a Edinburgh to Aberdeen tour on 10th October 2023, captured using my Mavic Pro 3 drone. ![]()

The accompanying picture features Glastonbury Tor in an autumn scene where I simply couldn't resist using this tree in my composition, which allowed the light mist to be also visible.
Primarily I want to remind all who follow my page that we are open at our exhibition in the Orchard Shopping Centre, Taunton from Friday, 30th August, until Sunday 8th September, daily between 9am and 5pm (10am and 4pm on Sundays). We had to shorten our exhibition time due my being in hospital, but I'm "back up and running" now, if not firing on all cylinders, so we are going ahead from Friday. If you are in Taunton, do pop by and day hello and perhaps tell your friends about my work in case they want an image to adorn their walls. ![]()
